Charezrivaldo – Ahead of the opening of the CES 2021 exhibition this week, Asus as a Taiwanese vendor showed off a new laptop called ZenBook S13. Like the present cellphone, the ZenBook S13 screen has a “notch” at the top to store the webcam.
The difference is, the bangs of ZenBook S13 are reversed compared to cellphones. Not jutting towards the screen, but outward so that it stands out on the laptop. Unlike other laptops, the device made by Asus has a notch above the panel screen as a home-made webcam feature.
In addition to the camera module container, Asus claims the presence of notches protruding towards the outside can be used to open the laptop screen without having to bother holding the bottom side. Because of this, the ZenBook S13 is claimed to be the thinnest screen frame in the world.

The display area can be made very wide, almost covering the entire front of the screen. The Asus ZenBook S13 bezel is only 2.5 mm thick, equivalent to a screen-to-body ratio of 97 percent, or you could say it’s almost bezel-less. The body is also slim with a thickness of 12.9 mm.
For matters of hardware, this Asus laptop is powered by an eighth generation Intel CPU with a choice of Core i5 or i7 CPUs. The processor is paired with a RAM capacity of up to 16 GB and SSD storage media up to 1 TB, also embedded Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics chip.
While in the connectivity section, Asus ZenBook S13 has a number of connectors such as a USB 3.1 port, two USB-C, 3.5mm earphone jack, microSD slot.
The ZenBook S13 battery is claimed to be able to last up to 15 hours. Asus ZenBook S13 is planned to go on sale in the next few months, but the exact schedule and price have not yet been announced.
